Greens and Purples:

Whether combining these complementary colors or going with one over the other, green and purple color palettes will be all over the trending wedding themes for 2022. Sage, eucalyptus, and emerald are all viridescent shades that may add sparkle or spice to your day. Lavender, amethyst, and even Pantone’s Color of the Year, Very Peri, can bring some extra pizzazz to your party.

Earth/Rust Color Palettes:

If you’re getting married in the fall, there will be no better time to take advantage of an earthy color palette. Earthy palettes featuring rusty reds are making a comeback. Amber reds, warm copper, and even some mild shades of green can all make up the perfect palette for your autumn affair. We even love the idea of accenting your bouquet with a bold, statement red to make it pop.

Celestial:

If you hold your love above the moon and the stars, why not show it with a celestial-themed wedding? This year’s couples want their weddings to be as heavenly as possible. Sparkled cake, glittering moon chandeliers, or even zodiac-themed table décor can all add to an intergalactic buffet for your guests to feast their eyes upon.

Bridgerton Style:

With the arrival of season 2 of Netflix’s Bridgerton, Regency-era-style weddings will be all the rage this year. Netflix’s Bridgerton, about debutantes in early 1800s London, will have renewed popularity given the recent drop of season 2. High society flare, ruffles, and muted pastels are all things you can play around with to indulge in this luxurious trending wedding theme.

Unique Themes:

Bridgerton isn’t the only fun theme you can play around with. We all deserve some fun nowadays, so if you and your love want to branch out and have a unique-themed party, then think of the sky as limitless. Plan your day around you and your love’s favorite book, movie, or video game, and see how much fun your guests have.

More Intimacy:

Whether you are trying to slim down your guest list or want a smaller and cozier atmosphere, an intimate wedding can help you achieve your dream. Designers can work in minimal space or even partition larger spaces to create that warm feeling that allows for more connection with your guests. That way, you have more time to dance the night away.

Ruffles and Puffs:

A lovely wedding dress with ruffled or puffed sleeves can help you achieve all your fancy wedding dreams. You can go for a big, 80’s-inspired puffed sleeve for some fun drama. Or, you can opt for a slight, classic Regency-inspired sleeve fitting for your Bridgerton wedding. If you are having more of a classic-style wedding, you can still take advantage of this trend with some nice classic off-the-shoulder ruffles.

Specialty Entertainment:

Specialty entertainment vendors are more popular than ever this year. Whatever your aesthetic or theme, there is sure to be one that can elevate your reception. You can hire a magician or even a glam party service to keep your children safe and occupied. For adults, a whiskey tasting or ax throwing setup can give your guests something fun to do apart from dancing. Summertime is the perfect season for a marshmallow fire pit that everyone can enjoy. There is no limit to the number of specialty vendors you can book to give your guests unique memories that will last a lifetime.
