General Questions

The Bride Box is the original monthly subscription box for brides-to-be! We launched in May 2013.
Let us help you plan, prepare, and pamper yourself for the big day!

We send the best monthly items that you can use before your wedding day, on your wedding day, and even after.
Each box has 5-8 bridal themed gifts, planning tools, apparel, decor, accessories, must-have bachelorette party/bridal shower items, wedding day essentials, and so much more! 

Yes, you are able to purchase the $39.99/month subscription option and then cancel it right away so you are not charged again for another box, or email us if you're unsure how to do so in your account.


We also have 1-time themed gift boxes.

We offer monthly (cancel anytime) 3, 6, 9, and 12 month subscription plans.

If you would like to receive more boxes after your subscription expires, simply resubscribe and you will not receive duplicate products. Please use the same email address you used previously, so we know you're a return customer. 

Monthly subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel the subscription in your account. So, you do not need to do anything!

Our 3-12 month plans are discounted in exchange for full commitment and will expire at the end of their respected term. There will be a cancellation fee for canceling those subscriptions early. 

You may add your discount or promotional code at checkout. If you are having problems, the code may no longer exist. However, please contact us and we will be happy to help: help@thebridebox.com. 

We will at times show a sneak peek of products in upcoming boxes on our social media accounts (Follow us @thebridebox). You can browse our website to get an idea of the brands and products we have featured in the past by checking out our 1-time themed gift boxes and also our blog. 

You will not receive the same item twice for as long as you’re subscribed. Occasionally, you may receive the same brand, but the actual product will not be the same. For instance, we may feature a wedding-themed tumbler in one month and a coffee mug in another from the same vendor. 

Shipping

Your first box will ship within 2-3 business days via USPS priority mail. If you have any questions, please contact help@thebridebox.com.

Currently, we ship domestically to all 50 states in the USA, as well as to Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and U.S. Territories/military bases.

We also ship internationally to Canada. 

Shipping costs will vary based on location. You will be able to see those rates when you check out!

You can make changes to your shipping address and/or payment information by e-mailing us at: help@thebridebox.com, or by changing your information in your account on our website.

Please complete any shipping address changes before the 5th of the month. If you miss the deadline, there is a risk that your box may go to the previous address we had on file for you and you will be subject to a re-shipping fee.

Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that your shipping address is current and that you are able to receive packages, which do not require a signature. 

If you receive a damaged or broken item in your box, please email us and attach details and a photograph of the item. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you as long as you contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Please follow these steps if you cannot locate your box when tracking says it has been delivered:

1. Check with other residents of the household. Occasionally someone else picks up the box and forgets to tell you.

2. Ask your neighbours, sometimes the mail carriers make mistakes and might have left the box at a house nearby.

3. Call your local Post Office. Either they tried to deliver the box and the notice slip they left on your door flew away, or they are holding the box at the post office. Most of the time they're able to locate it.

*Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after tracking shows as delivered.

If you signed up on April 1, 2022 or after that date, your box will be shipped 2-3 business days after you are charged for each month of your subscription. For example, if you sign up April 1st, your first box will ship within 2-3 business days after that date, your second box will ship within 2-3 business days after May 1st, and so on.

If you signed up on March 31, 2022 or prior to that date then your first box will ship out within 2-3 business days and then on the 15th-20th thereafter. Our cut-off date for the current month's box is on or before the 20th.

For example, if you subscribe on July 20th, you will receive your first box within 2-3 business days. Then you will be charged on August 5th for your second box which will ship around August 15th to the 20th. Since our boxes ship via priority mail, you can expect it typically within 2-3 business days of the shipping date. If you would like your second box shipped earlier, please reach out.

For a small cost ($3.99 per box), our Box Insurance service gives our customers peace of mind by providing additional protection in the event your box is lost or delayed beyond 15 business days in transit. You can simply email help@thebridebox.com for your replacement box if your box is somehow lost or misplaced by the USPS. All replacement boxes are shipped FREE using USPS Priority Mail. Please note that this service does not cover boxes shipped to the wrong shipping address as a result of customer error (i.e. customer provides us with an incorrect or old shipping address) or boxes confirmed by the USPS’ Location Services GPS system as being successfully delivered to the correct shipping address provided which then become lost or stolen sometime after delivery.  

Billing

If you signed up on April 1, 2022 or after that date for our Month by Month plan, or for our Three Month, Six Month, Nine Month, or Twelve Month plan with the monthly recurring billing option selected, you will be charged for your first month immediately upon placing your order, and then once per month on the specific day of the month that you signed up beginning the following month. For example, if you signed up on April 1st, your next charge will be May 1st, and so on. If you subscribed for either our Three Month, Six Month, Nine Month, or Twelve Month plan with the monthly recurring billing option selected, your subscription will NOT renew automatically after you have received all your boxes as part of whichever plan you have.

If you signed up on March 31, 2022 or prior to that date for our Month by Month plan, or for our Three Month, Six Month, Nine Month, or Twelve Month plan with the monthly recurring billing option selected, you will be charged for your first month immediately upon placing your order. After the first month has completed, you will be charged on the 5th of every month until your subscription expires or you decide to cancel your plan. If you subscribed for either our Three Month, Six Month, Nine Month, or Twelve Month plan with the monthly recurring billing option selected, your subscription will NOT renew automatically after you have received all your boxes as part of whichever plan you have. If you have a Month by Month plan and elect not to cancel it on your own, you will continue to be charged once per month and the plan will only cancel automatically following your 12th monthly recurring charge, as 12 boxes is the maximum cap for this plan.

You are immediately charged once you subscribe. If you cancel right away, this will only ensure that your subscription will not renew. Please email us at help@thebridebox.com if you no longer want a box and request a refund. 

All 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions automatically expire at the end of their term. You will need to resubscribe if you’d like to continue to receive boxes. You will not receive the same items if you decide to resubscribe. Be sure to use the same email address you subscribed with originally, so we know you are a return customer. 

We really hope you do not need to cancel early, and we will work with you to make you happy, but we understand things happen.

 

Our Month by Month plan can be canceled at no extra cost during the subscription period, but only after receipt of your first box. For all cancellations, you must cancel your Month by Month plan at least 2 days prior to your next recurring payment charge so that we can process the cancellation in time. If you have already been charged for your next box, your cancellation will take effect the following month and we cannot issue a refund as your box has already been sent for processing. In order to cancel your Month by Month plan, you may do so on your account page on our website. If you have any trouble canceling your Month by Month plan on your account page on our website, you may contact us by email at help@thebridebox.com for help with canceling it.

 

Our 3, 6, 9, and 12 month subscription plans cannot be canceled during the subscription period. These subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate for your commitment to the length of your subscription. If you have one of these plans and would like to cancel early, there will be a flat one-time cancellation fee charge depending upon which plan you have (see fees below):

 

Three Month plan cancellation fee: $10.00

Six Month plan cancellation fee: $15.00

Nine Month plan cancellation fee: $20.00

Twelve Month plan cancellation fee: $25.00

We do not accept returns for a refund. If you received a damaged or defective item in your box, please email us at help@thebridebox.com and attach details and a picture of the item. We will then arrange for a replacement to be shipped at no additional cost as long as you contact us within 7 business days of receiving the item.
